KU’s 108th Homecoming celebration takes place Sept. 28-Oct. 3, 2020.

Bingo

Download the KU Alumni app to participate in our Homecoming Bingo game! The game will take place all week. Alumni and students are invited to participate.

Be sure to register in the app in order to play! If you’re registered, you’ll see the Bingo feature on your app’s homescreen.

Scavenger hunt

We’ll also have a virtual scavenger hunt in the KU Alumni app during Homecoming week! Alumni and students are invited to participate.

Again, you must be registered in the app in order to play.

Homecoming in a Box

Students, be on the lookout for the SAN Homecoming Steering Committee in Lawrence’s favorite Jayhawk-themed car! They’ll deliver Homecoming swag straight to the door of campus living groups.

Jayhawks everywhere can show their spirit with a digital Homecoming display! Create your own artwork: chalk your driveway, create a graphic, make a banner, paint a picture, record a video. Let your creation show what Rock Chalk Around the World means to you!

Home Football Friday

The traditional Home Football Friday tailgate for students will be reimagined this year! Students will be able to pick up boxed lunches at the Adams Alumni Center from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Lunches will be available for the first 500 students. Masks are required and KU’s social distancing protocols will apply.

Marching Jayhawks Performance and Flyover

Tune in to the KU Alumni Association’s Facebook page at 5:30 p.m. for a live-streamed performance by the Marching Jayhawks! The band will begin at 5:40 p.m., followed by a Team KC flyover at 6 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 3

KU vs. Oklahoma State Football Game

Fans will be allowed to attend the game with robust health and safety protocols in place. Approximately 10,000 fans, or 19% of the stadium’s capacity, will be allowed to attend. More info is available here.

John Hadl, Gale Sayers statues unveiled

Bronze statues of legendary Kansas Football players John Hadl and Gale Sayers will be unveiled outside the Anderson Family Football Complex at halftime of the Jayhawks game on Oct. 3 vs. Oklahoma State.

Fans are encouraged to watch the halftime ceremony of the unveiling of the statues to hear remarks from Chancellor Doug Girod, Director of Athletics Jeff Long, former KU football student-athletes as well as members of the Hadl and Sayers families.
