Reunion

OCT. 14-16, 2021

The KU Black Alumni Network has planned a fun-filled weekend of virtual activities Oct. 14-16, 2021, during Homecoming weekend at the University of Kansas.

There is no cost to register to participate in the activities. We do, however, encourage everyone to make a donation to the KUBAN scholarship fund.

Virtual Schedule of Events

Registration

The registration fee for the KU Black Alumni Reunion is $50 through Aug. 31, 2021.

Registration includes Kickback, Social, the business meeting and breakfast, as well as welcome bags and gifts.

The registration fee will increase Sept. 1 to $70 per person. On-site registration will be available at a rate of $90.

Optional events will be available at an additional cost. These include campus bus tours and a golf outing.

Hotel Information

Best Western Plus West Lawrence is the host hotel for the KU Black Alumni Reunion. Rooms are available at the rate of $139 per night. You may book your rooms directly through the hotel. 

Several reunion events will be held at Best Western Plus West Lawrence.

Thank you to all who attended the Black Alumni Reunion Weekend events during Homecoming! The weekend was a huge success. The next alumni reunion weekend will take place in 2021.

Mike & Joyce Shinn Leaders & Innovators Award

The KU Black Alumni Network Mike and Joyce Shinn Leaders and Innovators Award recognizes leaders from the KU community for their impact on society.

Black Alumni Network Scholarship

The Black Alumni Network has established a scholarship fund for qualified students entering KU as a freshman for the summer or fall semesters. To make a gift to the Black Alumni Scholarship fund, click below.
