Welcome to the KU Alumni Association’s family of websites and online community. KU Alumni Association licenses its online community from Anthology, Inc. By using these Sites, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions and the privacy policy concerning use of these Sites. Please read them carefully. These Terms and Conditions and Privacy and Terms may be revised from time to time by updating this posting.
(Updated July 1, 2019) As the official custodian of alumni records for the University of Kansas, the KU Alumni Association maintains biographical information on its members and other alumni and friends. In order to fulfill the University’s mission, the KU Alumni Association and University need to collect and process personal data relating to current, past, and prospective students, employees, volunteer affiliates, alumni and supporters, suppliers, research subjects, international patients, exchange visitors and research learners and others with whom they conduct official business. We respect your privacy. If you do not wish to receive certain types of information simply contact the Alumni Association at records@ku.edu or 1.800.584.2957, and your record will be coded accordingly.
The KU Alumni Association does not sell or exchange personal information. Organizations that assist us in providing services to alumni and friends must also agree to safeguard your information.
By participating in Alumni Association events, each participant, and any minor accompanying the participant, agrees that the KU Alumni Association shall have the right to use his or her image, likeness, name, voice and comments in any print or online media without compensation.
All materials displayed on these Sites, including but not limited to text, photographs, images, illustrations, data, graphics or other content (“Materials”) are owned by the KU Alumni Association, its partners, licensors or other affiliates, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. The KU Alumni Association retains full right and title in and to the Materials. You may not copy, publish, redistribute or sell any of the Materials, nor may you reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise convert such Materials to any other form. You acquire no rights or license whatsoever in the Materials.
By using these Sites, you agree to the Terms of Use set forth here and the Terms and Conditions required for using the KU Alumni Association online community when registering.
We may work with data providers to serve advertising to you through display media or other methods. These providers may use personal information that we have collected or that you have provided to locate you online, such as when you visit or log in to websites or mobile applications. This information may be linked to online identifiers or IP addresses assigned to you and to demographic or interest-based data, in order to target you with relevant advertising, including information about our products or services. Merchandise in its original condition may be returned for a refund within 14 days of purchase. Shipping and handling is not refundable.
For event registrations, we will refund the entire registration fee if a cancellation is received by close of business at least 14 days prior to the event date. If a cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to the event date, no portion of the registration fee is refundable.
Alumni Association memberships and charitable gifts are final and non-refundable except in cases where (1) a duplicate payment was received or (2) an incorrect credit card was used and an alternative credit card is provided.
Proceeds from our auctions help fund the Alumni Association’s programs and our efforts to build lifelong relationships that strengthen The University of Kansas and the legacy of excellence embodied by its students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends. The Association helps KU recruit the brightest students in Kansas, advocate for legislative policies, connect the powerful network of Jayhawks worldwide and much more.
