Julie (Garney) Andrews, c’95, Waukee, Iowa, is President and Chairman of the Board of Briarcliff Development Company, a Mixed-Use Real Estate company based in Kansas City, Missouri. She also has past experiences owning a corporate event planning company, The Event Pros, and working for the KC Chiefs in sales & corporate hospitality. Married to Chris Andrews, J’92, they are Alumni Association Life Members since 2018 and Presidents Club members. They have three sons, Charlie J’24, Cooper and Beau.

Joseen is a Primary-Care Sports Medicine physician with Endeavor Health, formerly NorthShore University Health System, in the Chicagoland area. She earned her MBA from KU, her medical degree from the University of Tennessee, and her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Along side other medical specialists, she is charging a path to disrupt healthcare inequity through a pilot program for the state of Illinois which embeds specialty care in underserved communities. She blends her medical knowledge and business acumen to construct efficient systems that improve healthcare access without patients feeling like a number. Joseen attributes this ability to the knowledge acquired with her MBA from KU as well as advanced leadership training completed through the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Executive Education program. Joseen is the daughter of two Jayhawks, Vonzella F. Bryant (g’73, s’93) and Robert J. Bryant, VI (g'77). She is an avid sports fan, enjoys listening to a range of music genres and loves camping. Joseen became a Life Member in 2020.

Glen graduated with his BA degree in chemistry in 1977 and his MD from the School of Medicine in 1980. He completed his internship and residency in diagnostic radiology and joined the school’s radiology faculty in 1984. In addition to his bachelor’s and medical degrees, he earned KU graduate degrees in business administration and health services administration. He is the immediate past president of the KU Medical Alumni Association board and was recently elected to the board of trustees of the medical school’s Distinguished Medical Teaching Fund. He served as the medical school’s vice-dean from 2001-2008 and as its senior associate dean for medical education from 2012-2015 during which time he worked with Dr. Simari to revise the School of Medicine. He was chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management from 2008-2014. Glen was named a Distinguished Alumnus of the school in 2014 and received the Leadership Luminary Award from the Radiology Leadership Institute of the American College of Radiology in 2016. He is now professor emeritus in the departments of radiology and population health at the KU School of Medicine. He and his wife, Karen Templeton Cox, b’82, established a professorship in the Department of Radiology and a scholarship fund in the Department of Chemistry on the Lawrence campus.

Allen Fee, j’84, Hutchinson, joined Fee Insurance Group, a family-owned business established in 1883, and now leads the firm as CEO. He is an Association annual member and a Presidents Club donor, and he serves on KU Medical Center’s 4-Wichita Advancement Board’s executive committee. He has supported the Williams Education Fund of Kansas Athletics and the School of Medicine-Wichita, and he is a member of KU Endowment’s Jayhawk Faithful. Allen and his wife, Kriss, assoc., have two sons and a daughter who are KU alumni and a son who is a current student.

Monique is the owner of Garcia Group LLC. In her full-time consulting role, she works with federal and state agencies to expand access to health care in underserved communities across the region. She also utilizes her marketing communications experience to work with federal agencies on improving language access for public safety efforts. As a KU volunteer for the Wichita Network, Monique helped create a mentor program that connected alumni with local high school students and recruited several students to KU. Most recently, she appeared in “Together We Rise,” a video highlighting the Association’s efforts in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. As a student, she participated in the Hispanic American Leadership Organization, the KU women’s rowing team and the St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center. She earned her KU degree in political science.

Chip Hilleary has been a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader in the printing and marketing industry for the past 25 years. As the former owner of both Central Ohio Graphics and WestCamp, Chip played a pivotal role in establishing both companies as trusted providers of high-quality printing and marketing solutions on a national scale. After selling his company to his employees (ESOP) this past year, he has been actively involved in a number of philanthropic efforts aimed at enhancing education and community welfare in his home town of Westerville, Ohio. Hilleary was a First Team All-Big 8 quarterback and named Academic All-Big 8 for the Kansas Jayhawks from 1989-92 and graduated from KU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management in 1994. Today, Chip continues to be involved in entrepreneurial ventures with his new founded organization, Chilleary, LLC. He and his wife, Tiffany have two sons, Colton a Clemson University graduate and pilot in the USAF and Carter, who recently graduated from The Ohio State University and is working for a restoration and reconstruction consulting firm in Dallas, TX. Splitting time between Columbus, OH and their home in Bonita Springs, FL.

Tammy Huff Johnson, c’12, of Bel Aire, is a public policy expert and technical coordinator for the Kansas Parent Information Resource Center. She has led the BAN since 2019, providing steadfast leadership for programs and reunions amid the pandemic and other challenges. She has regularly advised Chancellor Doug Girod and his team on vital issues concerning equity and social justice as well as the recruitment and retention of Black students, and she serves on the Provost’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Advisory Council. In addition, Tammy has helped ensure that the legacies of the BAN’s early leaders, especially the late Thomas Vaughn, l’78, continue to inspire and guide African American students and alumni.

Marlon is CEO of The City Fund, a nonprofit organization that works with partner cities to improve public schools through grant funding. He formerly worked as special assistant to President Barack Obama and principal deputy director in the White House. As a student from 1997 to 2002, Marlon served as student body vice president and received the Rusty Leffel Concerned Student Award in 2001. He left KU to begin his career in politics and returned in 2013 to finish his degree in communication studies. As an alumnus, he represented the Association for five years on the KU Memorial Union board, and he volunteers with the Dole Institute of Politics. He earned a master’s degree in policy management from Georgetown University. Marlon and his wife, Stacy, have twin daughters, Grace and Camryn.

Joy worked for the Alumni Association for more than a decade after beginning her KU career in student recruitment for Admissions. She served as the Association’s assistant director of Kansas City programs, working closely with the Kansas City Network Board to coordinate the annual Rock Chalk Ball, She also founded the Association’s legacy relations program, collaborating with Admissions colleagues to enhance the recruitment of students from KU families and increase legacy undergraduate enrollment from 15% to 23%. She earned her degrees in English and journalism. She and her husband, Kevin, e’05, m’14, have three children, Luke, Reece and Wyatt.

Bobb Meckenstock, c’76, of Hays, earned his KU degree in political science and is CEO of the Meckenstock Group, a wealth management firm. As a volunteer for the Smoky Hill Network, he has hosted local Jayhawk events, including a reception to welcome and introduce Chancellor Girod when he was new in the role. He, his late wife, Shay, and daughter, Sarah, are all KU graduates. Bobb is a Life Member and Presidents Club donor, and he has contributed to the Alumni Center’s renovation and expansion.

David currently serves as the Mid-America Area Executive Director for ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He began his career at the Association as membership coordinator before moving to KU Endowment, where he was the Development Director for the School of Pharmacy and later Development Director and Team Lead for the School of Medicine. He left KU to become Executive Director of the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Development Fund. David currently serves on the KU Biodiversity Institute Advisory Board. As a student, he played football for KU and was elected twice as team captain. After completing his KU journalism degree, he earned his master’s degree in education. He and his wife, Emily Jean Ochoa, m’13, have two daughters, Ophelia and Evangeline.

Jessica Nelson Palm, j’11, of Overland Park, is vice president of marketing and PR at the Kansas City Area Development Council, where she leads integrated marketing and sales strategies to attract corporate investment, jobs and talented people to the Kansas City region. Jessica is a Life Member and Presidents Club donor, a former president and longtime member of the Kansas City Network Board, and she volunteers as a mentor, event host and speaker for the Jayhawk Career Network. Jessica and her husband, Eric, have a son, Lincoln, and daughter, Sutton.

Ryan Pfeiffer, j’02, of Prairie Village, is a producer for Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services. He has served on the Kansas City Network Board and led the group as president. He is a Life Member and Presidents Club donor, and he has volunteered in numerous roles, especially for the Rock Chalk Ball. He is currently planning a Presidents Club event to recruit new donors.

Keturah Harding Pohl, f’04, a’08, of Findlay, Ohio, co-owns and manages Putnam Family Dental, with her husband, Brad, a 2005 KU graduate. They moved to Ohio from Lawrence, where Keturah was an architect with Treanor Architects. She earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial design and her master’s in architecture. She volunteered for the Lawrence Network and served five years as the Association’s representative on the KU Memorial Unions board. The Pohls are Life Members and Presidents Club donors. Locally she works with the Findlay Economic Development on downtown and special projects, and sits on the Findlay Hope House Board of Directors.

Gautham is a physician and a founding partner with Neurology Consultants of Kansas in Wichita, the largest private neurology group in the state of Kansas. He is a volunteer instructor for the KU Family Medicine residency program, teaching residents who rotate through his clinic for a month-long elective in neurology.  He grew up in Hill City and was a Kansas Honor Scholar before coming to KU, where he was a leader in Pearson Scholarship Hall. He is a member of Jayhawks for Higher Education, and he and his wife, Rebecca Harrington Reddy, c’94, m’98, have supported the greater Wichita YMCA, KU Deferred Maintenance, the KU Welcome Center and the KUMC Anatomy Lab.  He is blessed with 3 children who are all current Jayhawks!

Jody Bosch Sellers, p’81, of Council Grove, is a retired U.S. Army pharmacist and now works as a staff pharmacist at Walgreens. She earned a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Florida in 2007. She is a Life Member and Presidents Club donor who received a 2011 Mildred Clodfelter Alumni Award for her longtime volunteer service. She has assisted the Kansas Honor Scholars Program, Jayhawks for Higher Education and the School of Pharmacy Advisory Council, and she is a donor to KU Endowment and the Williams Education Fund. Jody and her husband, Rick, assoc., have a son and a daughter, both KU graduates.

Becky Nettels Sloan, ’85, of Pittsburg, served on the Wichita Network Board and has remained involved with the Association’s Tri-State Network since returning to her hometown in Pittsburg. She and her husband, Steve, are Life Members and Presidents Club donors. They have hosted KU events and traveled to Jayhawk activities nationwide. She has volunteered for and contributed to the Kansas Honor Scholars Program and currently represents the Association on the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Athletics.

Jim is senior vice president, international for Major League Baseball and President of the World Baseball Classic. He is a veteran of more than 40 years in the sports industry, almost all of it in professional baseball, including stints with teams and the league office.  He oversaw MLB’s Asia business for 16 years based out of Tokyo. As a student, Jim was a sports reporter for the University Daily Kansan, and he has continued to support the School of Journalism. He also returned to campus earlier this semester to speak to current students as a volunteer for the Jayhawk Career Network. He and his wife, Michal, assoc., live in New York City.

Francie Stoner, c'72, c'73, retired as a Vice President from Cerner Corporation after 29 years.  She is the Founder and President of LAUGHH Foundation (Live Abundantly Using Guided Helping Hands) a 501c3 focused on helping people help themselves live healthier lifestyles with knowledge and activities around gardens, nutrition, cooking, and exercise.   She goes to Santander, Colombia to work with schools and communities, and leads her annual Health and Wellness Experience where they care for and educate around 1000 patients each year.  She was a founding member of WP4KU (Women Philanthropists for KU) and currently serves as president of the Board of Advocates for the KUMC School of Health Professions.  She is a Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor for the KUMC CLS Program. She also is on the KUMC CLS Advisory Board and the KUMC Health Professions Alumni Board.  She is a Life Member of the KUAA and the KUMCAA, a member of the Deans Club, Presidents Club, Williams Fund and Ad Astra, and has several funds in KUEA for projects at KUMC.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in business, Lisa earned her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she is now president of Lashly & Baer law firm. As an attorney, she has represented numerous educational institutions, including school districts and libraries. She also has worked with many public and government agencies, advising them on contracts, public employment, procurement, open meeting and records policies, conflicts of interest policies and many other issues. In 2019, Lisa was selected as a recipient of the Women’s Justice Award by Missouri Lawyers Media and honored as a YWCA Metro St. Louis Leader of Distinction. Lisa is a third-generation Jayhawk, and she and her husband, Stephen, e’85, have four sons—Brent, Curtis, Kevin and Mark—all of whom have attended KU.

Lisa Evans Tuchtan, d’74, of Bethesda, Maryland, earned her KU degree in education but has worked in real estate for the bulk of her career. She is senior vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle, a global commercial real estate and property investment firm. She specializes in office leasing, portfolio management and strategic planning for national and international clients. She is a longtime volunteer for the Association’s Washington, D.C., Network and she served as a Helpful Alumni Working for KU (HAWK) volunteer at local college fairs. She is a Life Member and Presidents Club donor.

Leah is principal of Blue Valley Northwest High School and a longtime volunteer for the Association’s Kansas City Network, which she currently leads as board president.  She has volunteered for the Rock Chalk Ball and the Kansas City Network golf tournament and first joined the network board in 2019. Most recently, she served as a mentor through the Jayhawk Career Network. As a KU student, Leah was a New Student Orientation Assistant and a member of KU Crew. She and her husband, Arlan, assoc., also are members of Jayhawk Faithful as longtime donors to KU Endowment.

Paul recently retired as chief technology officer for Dimensional Fund Advisors. He recently completed a five-year term as the Alumni Association’s representative on the KU Memorial Union Board, where he helped enhance coordination and communication between the Union and the Association. He also volunteers to assist current students and fellow alumni through the Association’s KU Mentoring+ program. As a student, Paul played in the KU Marching Band. He had his wife, Donna, have a daughter, Grace, who graduated from KU in 2020.
