Student Alumni Ambassadors

Who We Are

The Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) comprises of student leaders at the University of Kansas who serve as the official student voice for KU Alumni. Our mission is to foster positive relationships among students, alumni, faculty, and staff through celebrating Jayhawk traditions, cultivating philanthropic engagement, and connecting students to alumni.

Why Join

The Student Alumni Ambassador (SAA) program provides KU students with unique opportunities to cultivate leadership skills by engaging with alumni, campus leaders, and peers in a variety of meaningful settings, all while serving as distinguished representatives of both KU Alumni and the KU Endowment Association. Student Alumni Ambassadors will serve, network, and evolve during their tenure serving in this leadership role.

  • Serve as representatives of KU Alumni and University of Kansas through volunteering, public speaking, and engaging with campus and community members.
  • Cultivate professional connections with alumni, campus administrators, board of directors, faculty, community members, and fellow Student Alumni Network students.
  • Develop as student leaders through personal, professional, and leadership development centered around philanthropy, service, and pride for the University of Kansas.

The Flying Jayhawks Program welcomes anyone interested in travel; graduates, former students, families and friends. You need not hold a KU degree to travel with the Flying Jayhawks, but you must be a member of the KU Alumni Association.
