Thank Goodness It’s Thursday!

KU Alumni, the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor at the University of Kansas Medical Center invite you to join us for a TGIT (Thank Goodness It’s Thursday) social.

 

These events invite KU faculty and staff to connect and celebrate their hard work to make everything KU does possible. Refreshments and giveaways will be provided.

TGIT events are held at the Adams Alumni Center on the Lawrence Campus and in the School of Nursing Atrium on the KU Medical Center campus.

About

Presented annually by KU Alumni, the Catalyst for Connection recognition honors individuals or groups whose collaboration strengthens KU by engaging alumni, supporting students, and building meaningful community connections that help unite Jayhawks across generations, disciplines, and experiences.

 

Awards will be presented at the spring TGIT events held on the Lawrence and KU Medical Center campuses:

 

We invite members of the KU community to submit nomination(s) to recognize partners whose collaborative efforts have made a lasting impact that extends beyond each of KU’s campuses.

Timeline

Nominations are accepted by completing the form below no later than February 19, 2026.

 

Honorees will be notified no later than February 25 and are strongly encouraged to attend the appropriate campus TGIT event to be recognized in-person.
