The University of Kansas is thrilled to invite you to a special program featuring the Madison and Lila Self Graduate Fellows, a distinguished group of Ph.D. KU student leaders. This is a great opportunity to learn about cutting-edge research at KU and to connect with other Jayhawks abroad.

On Tuesday, May 21 the Self Graduate Fellows will be presenting about their current research. You are invited to join us for the poster presentations and a networking reception hosted at Sorbonne University, Campus des Cordeliers in the cloitre. Mingle with fellow Jayhawks, current students and alumni, and get an exclusive glimpse into the exciting world of KU research. The Senior Vice Provost of Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies, Jennifer Roberts, and the Senior Internationalization Officer, Charlie Bankart, will also be in attendance.

The Madison and Lila Self Graduate Fellowship is a community of doctoral student leaders who have been nominated and selected from 22 eligible academic fields including business, economics, engineering, and biological, pharmaceutical, and physical sciences. As a part of a professional development program, 23 of the Ph.D. students are traveling abroad for a customized international seminar including a poster presentation.
