Bridges

Bridges is a growing network of 40 universities worldwide that have pledged to connect students to meaningful experiential learning, and open doors to non-traditional career opportunities by offering micro-internships. The program is powered by PeopleGrove, which helps higher education institutions bring personalized, connection-focused communities to students and alumni.

College graduation is a major milestone, a new beginning.

But the job market is anything but predictable. Internships rescinded, hiring freezes and lack of job opportunities are the reality for many of our students and recent grads.

Unprecedented times call for unprecedented actions. What support can you offer to KU students and recent graduates in the midst of this new normal?

Introducing Bridges.

KU’s marketplace for connecting students and recents grads to real-world projects. Help students and recent graduates gain experience while allowing your business to benefit from their unique talents and perspectives.

The Bridges marketplace is fueled by individuals like you – fellow alumni, families, and businesses. In minutes, you can create short-term, virtual projects for students and alumni to help them launch their careers.

First, you’ll need to register and/or log in to KU Mentoring. Once you’ve logged in, click “Opportunities” on the red navigation bar. Then, click “Explore Projects.” You’ll see the opportunity to post a project on the right side of the page.

Every project post helps build the bridge to opportunity for Jayhawks!
