Gold Rush & Glaciers

June 7-14, 2021

Explore the forests, fjords, and the old frontier of Alaska on this unforgettable week-long trip aboard Oceania Cruises’ Regatta. Embark in Vancouver, the glittering gem of Canada’s west coast. Begin your voyage with a relaxing day cruising the island-dotted waterways of the Inside Passage. Look for bald eagles, bears, moose, and whales.

Then stop in Ketchikan. Seek out the area’s distinctive native totem poles, or travel to nearby Tongass National Forest and hike beneath the shady canopy of old-growth rain forest. Spend a day in Juneau and take in Alaskan totems and art, upscale shopping, and unmistakable frontier spirit.

Then visit Skagway, which retains the flavor of the gold rush era—discover the old false-front buildings on Broadway and
the Trail of ‘98 Museum, with an outstanding collection of gold fever memorabilia. Cruise to Sitka for some of the state’s oldest native culture collections, totem-lined forest trails, and authentic artisan exhibits in Sitka National Historical Park. Before journey’s end in Seward, where the dramatic peaks of the Kenai Fjords National Park tower in the near distance, see Hubbard Glacier, the longest tidewater glacier in North America.
